The Sales & New Business Producer will focus on growing the agency through new client relationships, referral partner development, and consultative insurance sales.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people, has strong communication skills, likes building relationships, and wants to be part of a growing local business with a clear mission.
This is not a “quote and hope” sales role. We want someone who can learn how to educate clients, uncover needs, explain coverage, and help people make confident insurance decisions.
The Sales & New Business Producer will be responsible for:
Success in this role means consistent follow-up, strong client conversations, accurate documentation, new business growth, and building relationships that lead to long-term agency opportunities.
The right person will not just wait for the phone to ring. They will help create opportunities, nurture relationships, and represent the agency with professionalism and confidence.

Insurance experience is helpful, but the right attitude, work ethic, and communication skills are just as important.
A college degree is strongly encouraged, especially in business, communications, marketing, finance, sales, risk management, insurance, or a related field.
Candidates without a degree may still be considered if they have strong sales ability, relationship-building experience, professional communication skills, and a willingness to become licensed and trained in insurance.
This is an in-office position based in Clayton, NC.
Regular schedule is Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Some occasional networking, community, or business development events may take place outside normal office hours.
This is not a remote position.
Compensation will be based on experience, licensing, and role fit.
This role may include a base salary plus commission and/or bonus opportunities. Final compensation structure will depend on experience, licensing, and production ability.
